The
state of Missouri Bragging Rights matches were begun
in 2001 to end the wishful thinking of both St. Louis
and KC teams that they were the best in the State.
Now
we have a way to know, for sure, each year!
Each
City selects its teams from members of its Units and
they meet in a 2-session head-to-head team game on
the Saturday of the August Regional held in St. Louis.
We
show the final quarter of the A team match on vu-graph
with insightful and zany comments by expert commentators.
It's
a lot of fun to see the last 16 boards following the
evening session of the Open Pairs. Grab a refreshment
and join in on the fun!
Trophies
are awarded on Sunday afternoon with recognition of
all 6 teams. |
