Flight A: unlimited
Flight B: 0-2000 MP
Flight C: 0-750 MP

- Open to teams of 4,5, or 6 players.
- All team members must be in good standing
with ACBL Greater St. Louis Unit 143 or near-by Unit 223.
A member in good standing has dues currently paid.
- A
player's principle physical residence as of June 1, 2008
must be within an eligible unit.
- This will be run as a
Knockout event, with format in each Flight depending
on the number of teams entered.
- A Swiss team qualifier based on the 30-pt
Victory scale may be used to get to a semi-final
of 4 teams in any flight.
- The DIC will determine how to best design
flight format. DIC to consult with Board Event sponsors
in difficult cases.
- Some teams may be eliminated after the
loss of their first match.
- Head to head and round robin matches will
be used to reduce the number of teams to get most expediently
to either 2 or 4 teams for the KO semi-finals/finals.
- Only one team will be eliminated from a
round robin of three teams.
- For teams with 5 or 6 members:
- Each member must play in at least half
the of all matches won. (Points awarded only for matches
played and won.)
- Each member must play at least half
the boards played in the semifinal and final.
- A participant who kibitzes must be
at least 2 tables removed from each table of her/her
own team’s match.
- Winning teams may subsequently augment
the team to a maximum of 6 players for competition in
the Bragging Rights matches.
- In Flight A only:
Pre-Alerts and Mid-Charted Conventions allowed.
- The DIC will determine the number of boards
played by each Flight.
- The event will be timed at 7½ minutes/board.
- When table exceeds the time, the pair(s)
responsible will receive a first warning. When a pair exceeds
a second time, the players will be referred to the Director
for assessment of VP or Imp penalty.
- Score correction expires 30’ after
completion of the segment.
*Masterpoints won in other bridge organizations, such
as ABA and foreign organizations, must be taken into account.
- A player’s experience is taken
into account to determine the suitable flight; the Director
in Charge is authorized to make such decisions.
