• Next Swiss Team at Bridgehaven is Sunday, July 25, 2010; play begins at 6 p.m.. 4TH SUNDAY.  Please call Barbara for partners and/or team mates at 314-374-6027, cell or 314-822-9454, home.

• The District 8 Board of Directors is looking for two or more Unit members who have a sincere interest in teaching bridge to middle school students. 

• There will be a 2-hour seminar on the how's and why's of starting such a program during the 2010 St. Louis Regional.

• Tuesday, August 10 from 9:30 - 11:30 a.m. in the Orly Room

  Chris Shaw, District 8 education coordinator and his wife Mary Beth, have done an outstanding job in their home area.  It is not easy to start such a program and would take someone truly dedicated, but it's a workable plan and very rewarding.  If you are interested and wish to reserve a place, please contact Bobby Riggs.
