Mary Dolan
I have five children and three grandchildren. Besides my family and playing bridge, I enjoy writing (see BestBridgeHandsDown.com), reading mysteries, and researching my Irish family history. I learned to play bridge in college and then didn’t play again until my children were grown. Eight years ago I discovered duplicate and never looked back!
I began my professional career teaching English at Kirkwood High and later at Forest Park Community College. After taking time off for family duties, I returned to school and then enjoyed a career in Information Technology with St. Louis County and Regional Justice Information Systems. Since 2004, I’ve worked part time doing computer programming.
I’m grateful to Donna Coker for running a truly great novice game, which I still think of as family. I appreciate all the A and B players who take the time to tell me “how the contract could have been made.” I am fortunate to be a member of the Unit 143 bridge community where so many expert players display tolerance, patience and kindness at the tables. I look forward to serving on the board.
